EngineeringServices

  • Our mechanical and structural engineers provide end-to-end ASME pressure-vessel design and calculations to American, European, and Indian codes. Working in COMPRESS, PV Elite, and Mathcad, we handle standard or specialized requirements and integrate seamlessly with your project team.

Engineering Design and Calculations
Drafting and Detail Engineering
  • Design of Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, API Storage Tanks, Silos, Chimneys, Air coolers, Rotary Drums, etc.

  • Well versed with international standards and codes such as ASME, ASTM,

  • API, AISC, BS, EN, NACE, DIN, ISO, TEMA, etc.

  • Preparation of Detailed Fabrication Drawings

  • FiniteElementAnalysis

Engineering Analysis

- When code formulas can’t capture real-world loads, our specialists step in with Finite-Element and fatigue analysis. Leveraging ANSYS and ASME VIII Division 2 methods, we pinpoint stress hotspots, predict cyclic life, and deliver documented compliance.

Rotary Drum Design

Objective: To resolve the issue of repetitive component failure in the machine.
Solution: Loads acting on the various machine components were identified, and stresses developed in them were determined. The safety of the design was examined. Consequently, we arrived at an optimal, cost effective solution and the problem was successfully resolved.

Pump System Design

Objective: To determine an efficient cooling load for the Transformer and Battery room, for efficient working of the system without overheating.

  • End-to-end mechanical design, 3-D modelling, and assembly detailing for fillers, sealers, and cartoners.

  • Kinematic analysis and FEA verify cycle forces and eliminate failure points, while ready-for-manufacture drawings accelerate procurement and reduce downtime in commissioning.

Objective: Validate flow, heat-transfer, and pressure-drop behaviour for critical process equipment and piping networks.

Solution: Using ANSYS Fluent and OpenFOAM, we simulate steady-state and transient scenarios, identify hotspots or recirculation zones, and recommend design tweaks that reduce energy consumption and extend component life.

Objective: Achieve uniform temperature stratification and prevent short-circuit mixing in a 1 000 m³ chilled-water storage tank.

Solution: Performed CFD-driven optimisation of the inlet/outlet diffuser geometry to balance velocity distribution, then issued fabrication drawings and performance predictions that cut thermal losses by 18%.

Objective: Eliminating excessive vibration and noise in an exhaust line and its supporting structures.

Solution: The exhaust line duct was redesigned, and the correct type of duct support with proper anchorage was provided.

Outcome: The ducts were replaced and minor changes were made in its supporting structures. The vibration and noise was successfully eliminated.

Objective: To design a pump and piping system to pump water from a reservoir to the plant storage facility located 5 km away, at an elevation of around 100 meters from the reservoir.

Solution: Detailed Design and Engineering support was provided, which includes pump sizing; DG set calculations, channel system around reservoir, pressure drop calculation etc.
